Since the first day of publication Law On The Protection Of Personal Data (KVKK), Etkeser & Yıldırım has been following the legislation, current developments and GDPR. In this direction, it provides consultancy services to its clients operating in many different sectors regarding compliance with Law On The Protection Of Personal Data.
• Follow-up, interpretation and evaluation of the legislation,
• Determination and analysis of the obligations that clients are subject to within the scope of KVKK,
• Providing the necessary support in terms of ensuring the necessary cooperation with IT departments during the establishment of data recording systems that clients need to use in order to fulfill the relevant obligations and in order to complience the currently used data recording systems with the obligations under the KVKK,
• Preparing and / or revising the contracts that clients have to conclude with their clients or business partners within the scope of KVKK,
• Providing in-company awareness trainings to all relevant departments (law, HR, IT, marketing, public relations, etc.) within the Data Controller in order to ensure full compliance with the obligations under the KVKK,
• Preparation of the Company’s personal data inventory and risk mapping,
• Establishing a system for the protection of personal data, creating company policies and preparing the necessary legal documents in this context and making the necessary additions to contracts,
• Implementation and monitoring of the system for the protection of personal data,
• Providing regular consultancy within the scope of KVKK and other relevant legislation after the Compliance Process Project is completed.
